Accounting for QBPOS in QuickBooks Financial-Starts 6/22/2010

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This detailed course will be taught in three separate two hour sessions. Each will take place on three consecutive Tuesday mornings beginning on June 22nd, 2010 and commencing at 9:00 am PST. You will be provided with a printable PDF of the PowerPoint presentation covering the key points to follow along with and make notes. The course itself will consist of 1:45 of lecture only content, with the last 15 minutes reserved for public Q&A.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Steve Green has been certified in QBPOS since version 1 and all versions of QuickBooks Financial Software since certification began. In addition to being "Advanced Certified' by Intuit (the makers of QuickBooks), Steve is an Intuit Solution Provider; reselling QBPOS and QuickBooks Enterprise and providing installation, training and support services. He is also the author of several upcoming books on QBPOS and has spoken at numerous national accounting seminars on the topics of both QuickBooks and Point of Sale. PREREQUISITES: This course is focused on how to handle QBPOS transactions in QBFS and not how to process transactions in QBPOS. The majority of our time will be spent working in QBFS so that you will gain a solid understanding of what to do with the transactions that are posted there. As such, you should have a general working knowledge of QBPOS and QBFS. A high speed internet connection is also required.
